Make: Handmade in Cameroon
This is a traditional Juju hat, which would have been worn by royal dancers during Bamileke tribal ceremonies. They are still handmade by artisans in Cameroon and often used as decor by designers. They are made with feathers and sewn together to form a foldable circle or hat. The hats can be folded in a way that they are tied and stored with feathers facing inward. They make a beautiful focal point for any room. The off-white feathers add a soft texture to any room bringing an instant feel of coziness (the hygge everybody wants!!). The wispy ends of the feathers are reminiscent of clouds. Use them in living rooms or bedrooms to create a calming effect.
Dimensions: 32" diameter.
