This home had a major renovation completed prior to being purchased by our client. While the home had been updated significantly, our client found herself surrounded by builder grade finishes and basic white walls. With a love of vintage guiding our design choices, we developed decor and furnishing plans to take this home from builder basic to vintage fabulous.

Left: A vintage shelf sink found by our friends Lilynymph Vintage was cleaned up and repurposed as the powder room sink. This is one powder room that I would want all of my guests to see.

Below Left and Above: An awkward corner containing internal HVAC and plumbing becomes a point of interest with this unique art deco vanity refashioned as a serving station. The matching stool was recovered in a fun, colourful fabric.

This is the first and not the last project where we added a lounge in the kitchen. The space becomes a perfect spot for friends to curl up and get comfortable refreshments are prepared. It also works well as a spot for sipping a glass of whiskey after dinner. We mixed affordable prints, vintage art, and a piece from the client's personal collection (Santini Galleries) to create this gallery wall. The pieces work well on their own but come together to make a statement that can be seen from the front door as you walk in the house. It begs you to enter the home with intrigue and curiosity.
